Freedom Nguyen is an American food innovator and writer. His blog is driven by his fascination with nationalism, identity, and food. Often pride is attached to cuisines that represent a culture and history, and also new ways of expression. But as people around the world become more and more connected, food inevitably takes on a transnational identity. Some erect walls and borders, while others absorb and infuse.
